My History
Born Free Logos are mainly associated with the Harly Davidson Bikers and biker clubs. I first got into this around 1970 when I bought a 1960 Harley pan head bike that had been converted into a chopper. It had a 1929 springer front end extended 18 “overstock. It needed to be prettied up, but it ran great. I chromed the front end and brass-plated the springs and the spindles. It had all the easy rider fixes with sweep-up pipes and a fantastic seat. I only was about 149 lbs and had to jump up in the air at least three times to get it to kick start. As I rode it around, all the bike clubs in Dallas wanted me to join because I had such a cool-looking bike.
So I started going to bike shows and events.
Born Free Biker shows were starting to appear around the country and still are going on today 40 years later.
