Rainbow Peace Sign is one of the Custom Grafix series of Hippie and Reggae series Tire Covers. The Rainbow Peace Sign symbolizes hope and unity for people of all backgrounds. Therefore it reminds us that we are all connected and that our differences should be celebrated. The Peace Sign was created in 1978 by Gilbert Baker, an artist and gay rights activist. The design comprises six colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple stripes.
    Furthermore, each color has a different meaning, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for harmony, and purple for spirit. The Rainbow Peace Sign has become an internationally recognized symbol of the LGBTQ+ community and its fight for equality and acceptance. The Peace sign has been around for a long time. I first became aware of it in 1963. I finished high school and Thought, now what? The Vietnam war was going on, and the draft was going on; some of my friends joined up, but I did not because I had no parents but a grandmother who raised me. She was pushing 70 and needed me to help support her. I went to work in downtown Dallas and was there when Kennedy was shot, but that is another story. I started to work and mix with other young people around town. We smoked pot and went to peace or anti-war events. The world was changing, and I started growing long hair and wearing tie-dye. Peace symbols and jewelry were everywhere. I am now 77, but I still wear the same peace sign necklace. Once a Hippie, always a hippie

Once the item has been returned and inspected, we only replace items if they are defective or damaged. There will be no charge for an exchange of an item of the same size and color. Return Policy
